These eye pillows promote relaxation and stress relief, help with headaches and block light from your eyes while the gentle weight provides a calming acupressure effect. They are perfect for Savasana at the end of your Yoga session. Take your own eye pillow to Yoga class. They are also ideal for lying poses during guided meditation or just allow yourself a few minutes time out from a stressful day, while listening to calming music. All eye pillow covers are made of 100% Cotton and are removable for washing. The cotton insert is filled with white rice and a hint of dried lavender from my garden. Enjoy!

What a crazy year! At the Grey Lynn park Festival we needed gumboots and NZ Yoga Day at Western Springs was postponed and I couldn't go. I made linen bolsters for a hand-made Montessori bed, customised cushions, Yoga bolsters for several Studios, improved the meditation sets with new fabrics and designs and at the same time I started planning new products for 2019. My new items will be exciting, if you care for the environment and like the idea of recycling. I will launch some of the new products at the International Yoga Festival in Albany in February 2019.
When I started my business beginning of the year, I had no idea where it would take me. Now I feel, I have made the right decisions. I am on an exciting and passionate journey, business-wise. In my personal life I am still dealing with grief and re-organising my life without my husband Bernie. I met wonderful people, got inspired and I even made new friends along the way. The year went fast and I would like to thank every customer who bought my bolsters and cushions, I also thank my friends for their support and help over the year. I couldn't have done it without you! Also a big Thank you to everybody who bought my little inspirational fundraiser hearts for Elize. This inspired me to organise even more fundraising and donation projects in the New Year. I will be back at the sewing machine, working on custom orders, new releases and prepare for the Yoga festival at Kawai Purapura. All the best, enjoy your time off, thank you again and I hope to see you all in 2019. Beate Minderjahn "If you want to change the world, go home and love your family." - Mother Theresa The hand-made little hearts that I created as a fundraiser for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand and offered at the Orewa Twilight Market were very popular. They quickly sold out and I donated all proceeds to the organisation. I am working on the next lot of hearts already and this time all proceeds will go to the Give a little Page of a local 14 year old girl that fights AML, they same type of Leukaemia my husband was diagnosed with.
At the same time I would like to remind people how important blood donations are, as Leukaemia patients need a lot of them throughout there long treatment. By the way NZ Blood is collecting blood in Orewa on 31. December again. Tomorrow is the big day at Grey Lynn Park Festival in Auckland. It's the first time I show my products there. Hopefully the sun comes out and lots of people. This park will be filled with over 200 stalls of creative people producing unique, original and hand-made items, lots of food and entertainment. to see what's happening on the Festival Stage go to www.greylynnparkfestival.org
Come to see our latest Yoga Bolsters and Meditation cushions... We had a great day at the General Collective Lifestyle & Design Market yesterday. I even had a bit of time to walk around and visit other stalls offering beautiful hand-made products. We saw amazing jewellery, clever designed wooden furniture, colourful bags, hand-sewn clothes, silk and linen scarfs, home products and original art. Everybody put a lot of thought into setting up their stall and make it beautiful and special.
I even got a few great set-up tips from my 'neighbour' at www.mylittleprojects.co.nz . Our new cushions, colours and fabrics were well received and we met a lot of wonderful people. Thanks to my friend Gabriele, who was a great help, everything went as planned and smoothly, until we started packing up and I realised, I had lost my car keys. After some calming breathing exercises on one of my meditations mats in the nearly empty hall (everybody else was on their way home already) I worked through my handbag a seventh time and finally found it. I definitely called it a day after arriving home... Now preparations start for the Grey Lynn Park Festival on Saturday, 24th November. See and feel our latest DELUXE Meditation Sets, new Yoga bolsters, Latex knee and neck cushions, beautiful new fabrics and improved designs at the GENERAL COLLECTIVE LIFESTYLE & DESIGN MARKET on Sunday, 11. November 2018 ASB Showgrounds, Auckland - 9:00am - 3:00pm
$3 entry, kids FREE I had a great day at the Coatsville market on Sunday. Thanks to my lovely friend Maren, who was my helper for the day, we presented my Yoga bolsters and Meditation cushions to interested Yogis. It is good to go out and show the features of our hand-crafted products, let people touch and feel and see what the bolsters and cushions are made of. Also a good opportunity to take orders for customised cushions: different sizes, heights, fillings and new fabrics. I have several events coming up, where I personally showcase my product. Details later....
Production is in full swing. Beautiful new 100% wool fabrics in five colours for Yoga bolsters and Meditation cushions (Zafus and Zabutons).

Beate MinderjahnWhen I started taking Yoga classes, I wanted to buy my own bolster and eye pillow, but it was difficult to find items, that I really liked. So I decided to create my own and turn it into a business. I wanted my products to be beautiful, natural and practical. Archives
