ALLSENSES was created in 2017 by Beate Minderjahn, (German born) New Zealand artist, maker and interior designer with a passion for natural materials, fabrics, colours, textures, thoughtful craftsmanship and timeless design.

Every item is personally designed and handmade with care, combining creativity with functionality to create pieces that feel authentic, calming and lasting. Inspired by nature, mindful living and beautiful interiors, ALLSENSES celebrates the beauty of handcrafted work and the uniqueness of small-scale artisan creation. Using quality natural fibres including cotton, linen and New Zealand wool, each piece is made with attention to texture, comfort and sustainability.

Beate's large-format paintings are created primarily with the intention of touching the viewer's soul, reaching them on a subconscious level, and then stimulating their imagination.

Her personal, abstract style has been continuously evolving since 1995 - a journey of artistic discovery. After years of working with heavy textures, Beate increasingly began to explore the energetic viscosity of the painting medium and allowed the liquid colors to take on a life of their own.

In her latest series of paintings, "3AM," mostly created during her two-year "art residence" in Germany, her focus was on an abstract, semi-realistic style with many symbolic elements and effects. Each painting tells a story that can be interpreted by the viewer as a sensual manifestation of emotional revelations.
