The class is aimed at beginners and will provide detailed instruction on sitting approaches (cushions, benches, chairs), posture, relaxation, awareness of the body, breathing and setting up a meditation “space”.  The aim is to equip beginners with the basis for a stable meditation practice.  The format will cover guided sitting meditation interspersed with walking meditation.  This class naturally leads into the “Continuing meditation class” (see next).

9.30 -10:45 am, concluding with a cup of tea and discussion.

This guided class will continue and develop the meditation techniques taught in previous classes in 2017 and 2018, as well as introduce students to a wider appreciation of practice and theory of meditation. The format will cover guided sitting meditation, relaxation, and walking meditation.
Intermediate meditation class (6 weeks)Tuesday evenings from 4th September to 16th October.
7pm - 8.15 pm, concluding with a cup of tea and discussion.
.
The class is suitable for those with some meditation experience, who can sit comfortably for 40 mins and would like to expand their meditation practice experience. You can attend the whole course or individual classes, although the course will progress over the 6 weeks. (Note there will be no class on 18th September).

When I started taking Yoga classes, I wanted to buy my own bolster and eye pillow, but it was difficult to find items, that I really liked. So I decided to create my own  and turn it into a business.  I wanted my products to be beautiful, natural and practical.
